Amazon Parrots are some of the larger in the parrot family. There are about 27 species originating from South and Central America. They are intelligent, talkative and playful, often the center of attention. They are very inquisitive and need lots of brain stimulating activities. Amazons are also "Flock" birds, meaning that they are social and need attention and continual love. Amazons are good in pairs as this is what they consider part of their flock.
