| General Care Tips*
Living Space Maintenance -
- Clean and disinfect the cage and perches regularly.
- Do not place food dishes under any perch items.
This contaminates your bird's food with droppings.
Replace food and water daily for optimal health of all
your bird(s).
- Ensure that none of the cage parts, toys and perches
contain Lead, Zinc or Galvanized parts. All of
these items can lead to serious health issues.
- Replace or repair rusted areas of your bird's cage.
Loose or easily removed pieces should be avoided as
birds may ingest these items leading to intestinal
blockage and other serious health problems.
- Replace or remove toys, perches and other items when
they become old, worn or damaged. Most bird toys are
meant to be destroyed as it is a natural instinct for
your bird to forage. This foraging includes,
pulling wood apart, shredding papers, and digging
through strings and other items.
- Provide essential lighting for your bird. Full
spectrum lights or direct sunlight is healthiest for
them.

- Birds love to bath just as much as we do.
Provide clean, clear, chlorine-free (filtered) water for
regular bathing. Make sure the water is lukewarm
for your birds comfort.
- Remove bath water when your bird is done.
- Use a grooming spray or bird misting system as an
alternate to bathing.
Grooming -
- Nails and beaks need attention too. Consider a
semi-abrasive perch for help maintain appropriate nail
length and snag free edges.

feel to your birds feather coat.
