Lovebirds Article

Why is it so tricky? Because Love Birds don't necessarily fit into the extremely small bird category, and they definitely don't fit into the medium bird/parrot category. You kind of have to "shop the gap." What does shop the gap mean? It means, you have to look at either large small bird cages or small medium bird cages.

When shopping for a Love Bird cage, just keep the general rule of thumb in mind that we always come back to; "the bigger the cage the better as long as the bar spacing isn't too wide." We recommend 1/2" or 5/8" bar spacing for your Love Bird cage, so that really opens up the options for you. Basically any cage in our small bird cages department will work for you & a large portion of the cages in the medium bird cages department will work as well. As always, we are here to help. So if you need anything at all, just contact us for help!
